intro pictureThis is the website of the support programmes for international arts and culture cooperation funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As of present, only the visual arts support programme is available for English-language users. When the user selects the applicable support programme, an overview of the latest allotment round results as well as links to previous allotments is displayed. Information on application deadlines, guidelines, facts and access to on-line application forms is also made available.

Please note that only electronic applications will be accepted and that all communication regarding applications, including final results of the application rounds will be via e-mail.

To facilitate a speedy application process, users are encouraged to have all necessary attachments available in electronic versions (max 3MB) before entering data into the application form. If the user has submitted an application and received a case number, the application’s status can be monitored by entering the five digit number in the field on the lower left. Good luck!

The Office for Contemporary Art Norway was created to facilitate and promote contemporary visual arts production from Norway, and to strengthen its international visibility and position. One of the key means by which OCA pursues this goal is by offering financial support, through the 02 and 03 International Support Programmes.

OCA also provides International Residencies for Norwegian artists, curators and critics abroad, including residencies at Capacete, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil; International Artist in Residency Programme at WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels, Belgium; International Artist and Curatorial Studio Programmes (ISCP) in New York City, USA; International Studio Program Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin, Germany; Platform China, Beijing, China, Platform Garanti, Istanbul, Turkey; and Residency Berlin Mitte, Berlin, Germany. The grantees for International Support and Residencies Programmes are accessed by an International Jury appointed by OCA.
